Well, I am an artist through and through. From the time I was a child, telling stories through pictures was what I loved to do. Growing up, I dove head-first into studio art, soaking up every ounce of technique and instruction possible.
The skills I had acquired over the years helped me to achive a degree in Visual Communication Design with an Illustration concentration. I've had the pleasure of working as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator for more than 26 years! Today, you can find me creating anything from editorial illustrations to logos, advertising campaigns, and everything in between. After a long freelance career and work in Corporate, Agency, and in-house Design Departments, I opened my current creative home: Splott Studio.
My unparalleled passion for Illustration has fueled an interest in discovering the world of children’s publishing. An imaginative perspective on social-emotional growth and views through a child’s lens, are key components of
my whimsical drawings and watercolor pieces.

When I'm not making art, I enjoy baking, painting en plein air, spending time with my family and two adorable German Shepherds.
